Norway has tightened the requirements for climate and environmental considerations in public procurement, and from 1 January 2024 these factors will be weighted at least 30% in tender processes. This is due to the government's goal to halve emissions by 2030, and public procurement plays a key role in this strategy. Energihuset helped Baker Klausen meet these requirements by preparing a thorough energy report. This report answered specific requirements for energy consumption with a low CO2 footprint, efficient energy use and details on fossil and non-fossil energy sources.
