Experience from banking and previous role as sustainability director
Jørund comes from the role of Sustainability Director at SpareBank 1 Sør-Norge, where he worked closely with sustainability, risk management and regulatory requirements. This experience gives him a unique understanding of how banks assess risk and financing, knowledge that directly benefits our customers.
He knows what requirements banks have to comply with when assessing loans to real estate customers, because he himself has been involved in making these assessments. This allows Jørund to provide concrete and practical advice on how businesses can adapt to the banks' expectations and strengthen their financing base. Our banking and real estate customers will greatly benefit from this expertise.

Jørund is a valuable resource. He has followed developments closely for many years and has extensive experience in translating complex regulations into practical solutions. In addition, he has extensive experience from board work and senior management, and has developed his own sustainability courses for boards and management teams.
Earlier in his career, he helped establish Point Carbon, which was sold to Reuters for NOK 1.1 billion in 2010. Experience from both entrepreneurial environments, finance and strategic sustainability work means that Jørund has a combination of expertise that is rare.
